Common questions
Most issues resolve with a power cycle. Unplug the affected device for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. For network issues, also reboot the router/modem. If that doesn't fix it, give us a call — most of the time we can diagnose remotely.
Yes. We offer tiered plans from essentials (remote monitoring + priority support) to comprehensive (everything plus on-site visits and proactive upgrades). The right tier depends on the system size and how hands-off you want to be. Get in touch and we'll recommend a fit.
Almost always, yes. Most home Wi-Fi issues come down to bad placement, outdated equipment from the ISP, or coverage gaps. We do network audits and can recommend (or install) a system that actually works for your house. Even if you didn't get your network from us originally.
Usually. The first step is a system audit — we come out, document what's there, identify what's working and what isn't, and give you an honest read on whether it makes sense to maintain the current setup or swap parts of it. No commitment to change anything.
For clients on a service plan, we test updates in our lab first, then push them on a schedule (not whenever a vendor pushes one — vendors push broken updates more often than they should). For clients without a plan, you can update yourself or call us in for a session.
Service-plan clients get covered repair and replacement at our cost on most components. Out-of-plan, we charge for the part plus a service call. We can usually schedule within a few days for non-urgent items, same-day for things like security or network outages.
